Gaurav Sehrawat is a Director at Rana Infra, where he oversees delivery end to end — architectural design, space planning and execution across the company’s South Delhi developments. He is also a Director at Aakriti Studio, a Delhi NCR construction firm working on integrated EPC and turnkey projects.

His work sits between the drawing and the finished floor. That means holding two things at once: the intent of the design, and the reality of what a site will actually allow.

From drawing to handover

A Rana Infra building moves through a sequence that most buyers never see. The plot is assessed, the brief is written for that specific site, the floor plates are planned, services are coordinated, and construction is supervised by the same team that set the specification. Gaurav’s role runs across all of it, which is why the handover rarely contains surprises.

That continuity is the point. When design, coordination and execution sit with the same people, decisions are made once and made properly, rather than renegotiated at each handover between parties.

The plot sets the brief

Rana Infra does not adapt a template to whatever land is available. Orientation, daylight, access and the number of homes a site can carry are settled before the product is defined. On some plots that means four homes, one to a floor. On others it means two homes per floor, planned so that neither feels like the smaller one.

The approach is deliberately narrow: Vasant Kunj, Vasant Enclave and Nangal Dewat, and nowhere else. Depth in a few streets rather than presence across a city.
